We are currently seeking a talented Web Developer-Designer to join our marketing team in Chapel Hill for a 3 month assignment that may become a full time role.
The Web Developer-Designer is expected to play a key role on our marketing team. While initially coming on board to develop and build one new site, the incumbent may ultimately be responsible for the development and design of a broader portfolio of both major and minor Web applications and components. This individual will design, develop, test and deliver web sites,applications and components. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to ensure the success of the project. The developer will have the ability to create web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deployment as well as the ability to program and design across multiple platforms such as iPad/tablet, mobile etc. They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as, but not limited to Java, CMS. Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality design work within tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.
